It is a worth-while concept that when we choose sin we choose death.
Psalms 47:1: O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph. 2 For the LORD most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth. 3 He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet. 4 He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.
The wisest thing we can do is to let God make our choices for us, to consult Him often and ask for His will. He is all-loving, all-wise and all-powerful.
Proverbs 3:5: Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
Perhaps I should read these reminders every day or perhaps more than once each day.
