Because They Have No Changes 2

These principles apply to all men everywhere: They are all sinners in need of forgiveness, they all need to be changed and their lives need to be changed. Those who are not changed and whose lives are not changed do not fear God.

Psalms 55:19b: . . . Because they have no changes, therefore they fear not God.

Many Bible passages prove that men AND their lives need to be changed by the Lord.

Galatians 6:15: For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.

Romans 6:4: Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Ephesians 4:17-24: This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, 18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: 19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. 20 But ye have not so learned Christ; 21 If so be that ye have heard him, and have been taught by him, as the truth is in Jesus: 22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; 23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; 24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

There are very few individuals who are changed but have no opportunity to live a changed life. The thief on the cross who trusted Christ had no opportunity to live a changed life.

Luke 23:43: And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.

In my nursing home ministry, I encounter individuals who are only moments, hours or days away from death. When they receive Christ, all that many of them are capable of is a smile and a thank you. Some are not even capable of those things. I can think of no circumstances other than death or coma that are valid reasons for not living a changed life. I have even encountered many severely ill believers that still bear the fruit of the Spirit.

2 Corinthians 13:5a: Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. . . .

The way to prove yourself to yourself and to others is to live a changed life. We don*t need to prove ourselves to the Lord because He already knows that He has changed us and how. A changed life will also point others to Him.

1 Peter 2:12: Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation.

Without a changed life going into all the world and preaching the gospel will not be very effective.

Mark 16:15: And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

How and how much your life is changed is between you and the Lord. He wants it to be changed greatly. I trust you agree with Him.
