I am still being brain-washed and the process will continue until The Holy Spirit completes it at Christ*s return. Whoever you are, you have been brain-washed too. Brain-washing can be a horrible thing or a wonderful thing, depending upon who is doing it. Unbelievers are brain-washed by Satan and those he controls. Believers are brain-washed by The Holy Spirit of God and those He controls. Unbelievers are all at different levels of Satan*s process and believers are all at different levels of The Holy Spirit*s process. 2 Corinthians 4:4: In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them. Romans 12:1-2: I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Traditionally we call people brain-washed who are firmly indoctrinated into beliefs that we disagree with. I think we need a different term for what Satan does. It would be appropriate to call what Satan does brain-pollution. If you have received Christ, The Holy Spirit is brain-washing you. If not, Satan is polluting your brain. There are stark differences between a polluted brain and one that has been washed. A polluted brain will not see the value of The Holy Spirit*s work. Only a washed brain can understand and enjoy the difference The Holy Spirit makes because a washed brain has been on both sides of the issue. It was polluted by Satan but now is being washed by The Holy Spirit. Has The Holy Spirit ever changed your mind about anything? Is He continuing to change it? You are commanded to check yourself. 2 Corinthians 13:5: Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates? |
