Do All To The Glory Of God

1 Corinthians 10:31: Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

I have had several Bible passages in my years of being saved that I considered my life passages. They have been a great blessing. Several other believers have shared their life passages with me. There have been a few times that I believed the Lord wanted me to change my life passage. Each time, the new one was a blessing. I believe 1 Corinthians 10:31 should now become my life passage and be my life passage for the rest of my life.

I have fallen far short of doing all to the glory of God. That has happened because I did not know or forgot that doing all for the glory of God was the purpose for which He put me on earth. Also, my flesh wants to bring glory to itself. Perhaps I don*t even need the whole verse. Perhaps all I need to remember, live by and obey is Do all to the glory of God. If you are like me and have trouble with your memory perhaps those seven words should become your life words too. They cover everything. Do all to the glory of God.
