Examine Yourselves 3
Do you regularly attend the most Biblical church you can find? If not, not you are cheating yourself out of some priceless blessings. Believers who harm themselves the most are those who have no medical or geographical reason to do so and yet never darken the door of a Biblical church. I wonder if they are unable to see or unwilling to see all that they miss. If we are not regularly attending a Biblical church, we are probably violating all of the principles and enjoying none of the blessings taught in these precious passages.
Acts 2:41: Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls. 42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles* doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
Hebrews 13:7: Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.
Hebrews 6:12: That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
Hebrews 13:17: Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.
1 Thessalonians 5:12: And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;
1 Timothy 5:17: Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.
Hebrews 13:24: Salute all them that have the rule over you, and all the saints. They of Italy salute you.
1 Peter 5:5: Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
Hebrews 10:25: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
1 Corinthians 16:1: Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye. 2 Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.
2 Corinthians 9:6: But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully. 7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
Romans 12:8: Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.
Luke 6:38: Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.
