Finding God*s Will
Finding God*s will is easier than we think. He wants us to know it more than we want to know it.
First remove the roadblocks. Then ask Him to show you His will. If you get rid of the roadblocks, sometimes He will want you to ask Him to show you His will and sometimes you won*t even have to ask. He wouldn*t be much of a God if He expected you to do something but didn*t tell you what it was.
The first roadblock is YOUR will. If you would like plan A or B but not plan C you have a roadblock. If you would like a plan between A and Z but nothing outside the alphabet you have a roadblock. If we can just get rid of that infernal first roadblock, there won*t be any other problems.
Jesus ALWAYS knew the will of Father. Here is why. He left the choice with His Father.
Luke 22:42: Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
The second roadblock is always connected to the first one. The second roadblock is avoiding the Bible. That is very unwise because that is where God puts His will in writing. If you avoid the Bible you are deliberately avoiding His will.
The third roadblock is also always connected to the first one. He puts His will into our hearts when we invite Jesus in. But we need His will in our minds and bodies as well.
Romans 12:1-2: I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
