I Struck It Rich
But don*t try to con me out of my riches. They are gifts from God. If you want them you can have them too. But you have to get them from God. He is the only source. If you are saved, you already have them. I have wasted more of them than I can remember, but I am learning to use them wisely. If you have never received Jesus, you must receive Him, otherwise God*s riches will be forever unavailable to you. I do not buy lottery tickets, I have not made investments that paid financial dividends and I have not inherited financial wealth. I got saved. We who are saved are richer than any unsaved individual in the world. I don*t have to take an inventory of my riches. They are listed all over the Bible. Most of them await me in Heaven and I can*t lose those. I can needlessly fail to enjoy my present riches. Many don*t want the riches I have because they do not understand the value of God*s riches.

Luke 12:20: But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? 21 So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.
Romans 9:23: And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory, 24 Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles? 10:12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
2 Corinthians 8:9: For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich.

1 Timothy 6:17: Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; 18 That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; 19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life.
James 2:5: Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him? 5:1 Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you. 2 Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten.3 Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.
