I Will Always Have My Lord
And more importantly, HE WILL NEVER LEAVE ME.
Job 19:25-27: For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: 26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God: 27 Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.
My paraphrase of what Job said is: I will always have my Lord and He will never leave me. I have been saved for almost 28 years. As I look back, I remember many difficulties. Some happened to me before I had my Lord. He was looking out for me even then. My difficulties were nowhere near what Job went through. And most of my troubles came one at a time rather than all at once as they did for Job.
After every difficulty I still had my Lord and He never left me. I lost a child by a miscarriage. I lost my parents. I lost two brothers and a sister. I didn*t really lose them. They are with the Lord waiting for me. I lost four nephews. I unjustly lost two jobs. I had surgeries. I survived car accidents. I had heart trouble. I had cancer. Three times I was swindled out of large sums of money. I have never gone hungry. I have never had an unmet need. I still have my Lord and He has never left me.
When this body dies I will still have my Lord and He will not leave me.
