Keeping My Desk Clean

Keeping my desk clean is virtually impossible. That is because most every day the Lord gives me more abundant truth that I could possibly absorb or share with others. From time to time I ask His help to sort it all out, share what He wants me to share, absorb what is just for me and discard the rest. I prefer to call what might seem to others like a mess on my desk my treasure-trove. It contains multitudes of God*s truths and blessings. When it comes to God*s truths and blessings I am like a hoarder or a pack-rat. The messes on my desk and stored in my computer are much like a maze through which I must walk every day. Your life is like a maze too. Occasionally a believer tells me that an article I sent out came to them at exactly the right time. I cannot plan that or accomplish it. I don*t know their needs. Some of them I have never even met. I desperately need God*s help every moment of every day. I hope you are not so arrogant that you doubt that you need it too. I pray that you will ask for it and have it and I need your prayers that I will have it.

Psalms 31:3: For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name*s sake lead me, and guide me.

Jeremiah 10:23: O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps.

Psalms 37:23: The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. 24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand.

Proverbs 16:3: Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.

Ezra 8:21: Then I proclaimed a fast there, at the river of Ahava, that we might afflict ourselves before our God, to seek of him a right way for us, and for our little ones, and for all our substance.

John 10:27: My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

Psalms 119:105: Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

1 Corinthians 15:10: But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

Psalms 23:1: The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name*s sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. 5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
