Lead Me Lord

How often do we pray that prayer? We cannot pray it too often.

Psalms 119:176: I have gone astray like a lost sheep; seek thy servant; for I do not forget thy commandments.

Isaiah 53:6: All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

Ultimately there are only two ways to go in every choice and every decision, God*s way or our own way. The Psalmist and Isaiah knew that they had gone their own way and that their way was the wrong way. Do you want Him to lead you or do you want to go your own way?

Psalms 5:8: Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face.

Psalms 25:4: Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths. 5 Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

Psalms 139:23: Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: 24 And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

Psalms 143:10: Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

Ezra 8:21: Then I proclaimed a fast there, at the river of Ahava, that we might afflict ourselves before our God, to seek of him a right way for us, and for our little ones, and for all our substance.

Matthew 6:13a: And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: . . .

Do you believe that God*s way is always the best way and the right way? Do you know that your own way is always the worst way and the wrong way?

Psalms 23:1: The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name*s sake.

Ezekiel 34:14: I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie in a good fold, and in a fat pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel.

Revelation 7:17: For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

John 10:27: My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

Are you one of His sheep or not? If you are one of His sheep are you a wise sheep or a foolish one?
