My Most Memorable Day
My most memorable day was the day I received Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I hope that the day you received Him was your most memorable day too. If there is any other day that is more important to you, you have some wrong priorities or perhaps you have not received Him at all. Other memories come and go but they become less and less significant. The day I reach Heaven all of those other memories will become totally insignificant except as they are related to my salvation. The day I received Jesus He changed my eternal destiny from Hell to Heaven. He changed the way I live my life. The longer I live the more important that day becomes to me. That day a battle began between the new creature that He made me and my sinful flesh. Since that day I have been grieved over my sin and thrilled about His forgiveness. That day the Bible became my most important possession. It became an incomparable treasure to me. It began to make sense to me like it had never done before. It had become a part of me. A day without being able to hold a Bible in my hands and read it is an awful day. Jesus was always the most important being in my life but I did not know that before I received Him. Now I know it. When Jesus became the most important person in my life, His book, the Bible became the most important book in my life. That day I began losing friends who had not received Jesus but I have gained multitudes of better friends who have received Him. That day He gave me a concern for those who are still headed for Hell. Since that day I have been alive unto God. That day I became a child of God. I hope and pray that the Lord has given you a day like that. If not, today could be your most memorable day.
