This morning I learned to love just one of them a little more. The word is open. Just a glance at a few places the word appears in Scripture has shown me a little more more about how dependent I am upon God. What a wonderful thing to know. I believe you too will be blessed by focusing on that wonderful word. Revelation 3:7: And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth; Acts 16:14: And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul. Luke 24:45: Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures, Psalms 119:18: Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law. Psalms 51:15: O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise. Ephesians 6:19: And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, Psalms 118:19: Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, and I will praise the LORD: Malachi 3:10: Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. Deuteronomy 28:12: The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow. Ezekiel 37:12: Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel. |
