Outside The Will Of God

Outside the will of God is a very dangerous place and an undesirable place. For a Christian outside the will of God, the only guarantee he has is eternal life. For an unbeliever outside the will of God there are NO guarantees except judgment. Outside the will of God, even for a Christian, there is no guarantee of protection, guidance, blessing, joy, peace or satisfaction. There is no guarantee of anything good. Outside the will of God is a place where we should fear to go. We should do everything we possibly can to keep ourselves in the will of God and we should seek his help to do it.

Jude 1:21: Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.

1 John 5:21: Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.

Proverbs 16:17: The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way preserveth his soul.

Proverbs 19:8: He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul: he that keepeth understanding shall find good.

Proverbs 19:16: He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul; but he that despiseth his ways shall die.

Proverbs 21:23: Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles.

A martyr is one who has become an instrument of God, who has lost his will in the will of God, not lost it but found it, for he has found freedom in submission to God. The martyr no longer desires anything for himself, not even the glory of martyrdom.

The Greek word for martyr is a witness. All Christians should be witnesses and all Christians should all lose their will in the will of God.
