Satisfaction 2

Psalms 17:15: As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.

1 Corinthians 15:53: For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. 54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

In that glorious coming day when we who are saved will have put on incorruption and immortality we shall see Him perfectly and we shall be perfectly satisfied forever. Meanwhile, the more we seek to know Him and study and obey the Bible the more like Him we will become here and now and the more satisfaction we will have here and now.

Psalms 22:26: The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live for ever. 36:7 How excellent is thy lovingkindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of thy wings. 8 They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; and thou shalt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures. 37:19 They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied. 63:3 Because thy lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee. 4 Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name. 5 My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness; and my mouth shall praise thee with joyful lips: 65:4 Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple.

Proverbs 12:14: A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth: and the recompence of a man*s hands shall be rendered unto him. 14:14 The backslider in heart shall be filled with his own ways: and a good man shall be satisfied from himself. 19:23 The fear of the LORD tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil. 20:13 Love not sleep, lest thou come to poverty; open thine eyes, and thou shalt be satisfied with bread.

Jeremiah 31:14: And I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, saith the LORD.
