Show And Tell
Being a Christian is both showing and telling. Some say they are Christians but live an unchanged life. Some believe that they can demonstrate that they are Christians but never say so. I would compare those sorts of individuals to someone hopping along on one leg. They won*t go very far or very fast and we can only believe that they are Christians about half the time.Matthew 10:32: Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven. 33 But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
1 Peter 3:15: But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:James 2:17-18: Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. 18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
