The Highest Education

The highest education is to personally know the love of Christ, God and the Bible.

Ephesians 3:19: And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

John 17:3: And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

2 Timothy 2:15: Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Without knowing the love of Christ, God and the Bible, no matter how many PhDs one possesses, his education is never complete. Without the highest kind of education, men do not have the capacity to know the complete truth and relevance of any other kind of education.

2 Timothy 3:7: Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Proverbs 21:30: There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the LORD.

This education begins when one receives Jesus, becomes born again and is indwelt by the Holy Spirit. This education can begin when one is a toddler or it can begin in old age. It goes on as long as one lives. It satisfies you regardless of how far along you are in it, even though it will always make you crave more of it.

John 3:3: Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Luke 8:10: And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

Romans 14:17: For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.

1 Corinthians 4:20: For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.

This education is full of absolutes that you can build your life on. The teacher of the highest education is the Holy Spirit.

John 14:26: But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

The Holy Spirit often teaches us through other individuals who are indwelt by the Holy Spirit.

Ephesians 4:11-12: And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; 12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

It is vitally important that we study the Bible for ourselves so that we will know when our teachers are giving us truth or error.

Acts 17:11: These (Bereans) were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

The Holy Spirit teaches us more when we are committed to serving the Lord.

Proverbs 16:3: Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.

Whether you are a babe in Christ or a mature saint, if you seek Him, God will teach you today what you need to know today. He will teach you every day what you need to know that day. The more you seek and find this education the more useful it will be to you.

Matthew 6:33: But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
