What Heaven Will Be Like 4

It was appropriate for Jesus to look forward to the glory and joy of Heaven and it is appropriate for us as well.

John 17:5: And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

If you get there, you will love everyone there and they will love you. They will know how to love you and you will know how to love them. They will never stop loving you. No one will ever sin against you. No one will ever harm you. No one will ever hate you. You will never be sick. You will never be tired. You will never die. You will never lack any necessary thing. You will love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind and strength and your neighbor as yourself.

My parents will be there. Many of my siblings will be there. Three of my grandparents will be there. The man who led me to Christ will be there. My spiritual mentors will be there. Those that I have led to Christ will be there. The people who have loved me the most on earth will be there. We will all speak one language. There will be no oceans or mountains or other barriers there. No borders. There will be no wars or arguments. No crime. No police. No armies. No enemies. There will be no danger. There will be no harmful viruses or germs. No deterioration. No decay. No pollution.

No one there will be proud. Everyone will be humble. We will be exactly what God wants us to be. Our minds will function as they are supposed to. We will understand all truth and never forget it. No one will flunk. I am told that here on earth we only use a fraction of what our brains are capable of. And we misuse most of that. We will all be comely. No pimples. No warts. No blemishes. I won*t need glasses or hearing aids. We will all have tasks that we will love. Nothing will wear out. Everything there will be better than we hoped for. We will enjoy whatever rewards, great or small, that God helped us to earn on earth. There will be no boredom. We will always be satisfied. We will be incapable of being unsatisfied.

Psalms 17:15: As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.

We will never lose our resemblance to Him.

Revelation 14:13: And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
