When There Is Too Little Time

God knows what I am able to do and how much time it will take. When He wants me to do something He moves me to start doing it at the right time and finish doing it at the right time. When there is too little time to do what He wants me to do it is never His fault. It is always mine. His timing is perfect. One possible reason is that I have not begun the task when He wanted me to. It may be that I have begun a task too soon or too late. The most common reason is that the task is something that I want to do rather than something He wants me to do. I often want to do something for Him at the wrong time. Doing things for Him at the wrong time is just as sinful as not doing them at all. I believe that when I am frustrated about something for which I have too little time, I am out of His will. It happens most often when I have wasted time. When I am in His will, it gets done, there is always enough time and there is no frustration.

Psalms 31:15a: My times are in thy hand: . . .

Psalms 37:9: For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.

Isaiah 40:31: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

There are times when He wants us to move quickly.

Acts 22:18: And saw him saying unto me, Make haste, and get thee quickly out of Jerusalem: for they will not receive thy testimony concerning me.

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8: To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: 2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; 3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; 4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; 5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; 6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; 7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; 8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
