When You Must Wait

Psalms 123:2: Behold, as the eyes of servants look unto the hand of their masters, and as the eyes of a maiden unto the hand of her mistress; so our eyes wait upon the LORD our God, until that he have mercy upon us.

When you must wait, why not wait upon the Lord? When you must wait, why not speak to your Heavenly Father? When you must wait, why not meditate on Him or His Word? When you must wait, why not ask Him to speak to you? I just discovered this morning as I was waiting longer than usual for my computer to complete something, if I prayed as I waited it didn*t seem like I had to wait as long. Instead of being irritated I enjoyed the company of my Heavenly Father for a moment. I think this idea will greatly help me with my impatience problem. Try it, you might like it too. If we decide to wait upon our Heavenly Father whenever people or circumstances make us wait, perhaps He will bring more things into our lives that we must wait for so we will spend more time with Him.
