When I got saved it was a surprise to me to learn that I had been an enemy of God. Even after we are saved, our flesh is still an enemy of God and will always be. If you don’t know that your flesh is an enemy of God and experience a battle within you, your Christian life is not going to be very fruitful and you may not be a Christian at all.
