Would You Rather Live A Real Life

Would you rather live a real life or watch someone else*s imaginary one on TV. It seems that most people would rather watch an imaginary one. How sad. They are living their lives as if God was not God. Since I surrendered my heart to the Lord, He has given me a real life that is enjoyable beyond measure. When I lapse back into the old life the enjoyment evaporates. Sometimes I don*t even notice why the enjoyment goes away. I see this happen to other Christians too. It shouldn*t be hard to know the reason. When we get out of the will of God, we get out of the blessings of God.

Psalms 1:1: Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

John 10:10b: . . . I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

Romans 6:4-6: Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: 6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

Romans 8:11: But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Galatians 2:20: I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Ephesians 2:1: And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;

Ephesians 4:22-24: That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts; 23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind; 24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

1 John 3:14: We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

Solomon wisely described the uselessness and nothingness of life out of God*s will.

Ecclesiastes 1:2: Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity.
